Rominger, R. (2000). Empathic Near-Death Experience: Another Point on the Apparition - Deathbed Vision - Near-Death Experience Continuum. A theoretical paper submitted for continuation into the Doctoral level at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology.

This paper covered major developmental milestones pertaining to apparition cases, deathbed visions, and the near-death experience and posed a hypothesis regarding the continuum nature of said experiences. This paper additionally focused on a case study of what has been termed an empathic near-death experience (Moody, 1999), and proposed the placement of the E-NDE into the apparitionâ???deathbed visionâ???NDE continuum.
